Lies of Pis a soulslike action RPG from Neowiz with majorBloodbornevibes, one that has drawn eyes since reveal for its unique take of combining soulslike gameplay with the classic story of Pinocchio. There’s even a lie system tied to the story, with the art style and aggressive gameplay reminding many fans ofBloodborne. The devs have previously stated that it wasn’t their intent to make aBloodborneclone, but fans can clearly see the similarities, which is a good thing for the most part. That’s especially true because the reception toLies of P’s demo has trended positively, so if the whole game lives up to that quality, fans should be in for a real treat in September.

Xbox Game Pass September 2023 List is Already Strong

Following it isPayday 3,which almost speaks for itself. The franchise is beloved, and the threequel has been highly anticipated for some time now. It takes place in New York City this time around, with thePayday gang getting quickly drawn into more heists. Based on what was shown, it seems to focus on a classicPaydayapproach with high-octane heist action. It doesn’t break the mold, but it doesn’t need to for it to stick the landing in September. And betweenLies of PandPayday 3, fans could be eating really well in September.

What’s more is that this is on a drop in the bucket. September has some great games lined up to keep fans busy, but so doesXbox Game Passas a whole. During the Xbox Games Showcase, for example, games likePersona 3 Reload, Persona 5 Tactica, South of Midnight, Path of the Goddess, Clockwork Revolution, and many more were confirmed as day one releases for the service. Fans have to wait at least a few months for any of these, but no doubt many are looking forward to their release.
