With Master Rank adding a bunch of newarmor setsand weapons inMonster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, players will need to gather as many crafting materials as possible. While going on quests and fighting monsters is essential for farming important items, there are other ways to acquire items, and one of those ways is to take advantage of the Meowcenaries.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreakplayers looking to craft the entire Master Rank Death Stench X set will need to gather at least fiveSinister Gloomcloth, among other items. This is where the Meowcenaries come into play, as it’s the only way for hunters to get their hands on Sinister Gloomcloth. Here’s how to get it.

Where to Find Sinister Gloomcloth in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak
To put it right out there, players will need to use the Meowcenaries to find Sinister Gloomcloth by sending them to Master Rank Sandy Plains, but only if there is a sparkling Bones icon on the path.
Players can use the Meowcenariesby speaking to Nagi, the Buddy Agent. He’s to the left of the Courier in Elgado and is next to the Buddy Board. Choose Meowcenaries, and then go ahead and set up the destination for the pets. They will go out searching for items and materials and return after players complete a few quests.
Make sure to use a Lagniapple before sending out the Buddies on a quest. This will help them find even more items on their travels.
Check the destination list, and players will see theMaster Rank locations. If players look closely, they’ll see that some paths are sparkling; this means that the buddies will find rare items, such as the Sinister Gloomcloth.
Select the Sandy Plains map and see if there are any paths with sparkling bones. These are where the Sinister Gloomcloth are found. If nothing is sparkling, check the Meowcenaries after a quest to see what’s been changed.
Also, when players have to choose which of theirBuddies to send out on the expedition, make sure to select the ones with the highest levels, as the higher the level, the better the reward.
Death Stench X Armor Set
Once players have enough Sinister Gloomcloth, they should be much closer to crafting the Death Stench X Master Rank set. While the armor set is rather appealing due to its creepy factor, it’s also a viable set to use inMonster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.
