However, they can be one of the trickier collectible objects to find, and some players might struggle to find the preciselocation of dandelionsinPaleo Pines, which aren’t nearly as widely available as other resource types like clovers, herbivore food, and herbs.

What Are Dandelions Used For In Paleo Pines?
InPaleo Pines, dandelions are a resource found growing in the wild like other plants. Dandelions are necessary tocomplete dinosaur sleeping pen structuressurrounding dreamstones, a dinosaur pen construction that becomes essential after playersbefriend and tame a dinosaur inPaleo Pines.
Finding dandelions is also necessary tocomplete certain questsset by some NPCs in the village, wherein players can often earn various rewards, for instance, by helping players make money or shells, which act as the town currency, and enabling players to buy more equipment or other items to help care for their dinos and grow their ranches. Players can alsosell wild resources like dandelionsto Corlan’s stall tomake money.

Where To Find Dandelions In Paleo Pines
One of the best places tofind dandelions inPaleo Pinesis inVeridian Valley, the first map region players encounter. Players can locate one of the largest groups of dandelions with five patches to collect growing in thenortheast ofPaleo Pines' map in front of a group of rocks to the right of the wooden rope bridge, north of Owynn’s house and southeast of Mari’s house.
Typically,dandelions are found sparingly in some grassy, hilltop areasof the map and have a sparkly appearance like other resources. Players can also find smaller groups of dandelions to theeast of the mapnear the bench at the top of the hill overlooking Owynn’s house, as pictured above. There’s also a small patch of dandelions to thesouthwest, just above the village center, near the small farm.

Players should use their dino journal to identify dandelions first if gathering them for the first time. Dandelions also tend to respawn quite frequently, so players can always return to the same spot to farm dandelions if they are struggling to find them elsewhere.
