Destiny 2’s second season under the umbrella of the Lightfall expansion is currently underway, and before too long it will be pushed aside for a new season to take the spotlight. With this upcoming change, players should be mindful of certain things that may no longer be available when Season of the Deep ends in order to complete them in the meantime.
Season of the Deep makes forDestiny 2’s 21st Season, bringing its shares of content, rewards, and challenges to the game. With the season approaching the halfway point, the window for completing everything it has to offer may be closing fast, especially for those who don’t play regularly.

Everything that Players Should Finish Before Season of the Deep Ends
The new Deepsight Harmonizer consumables fromDestiny 2’s Season of the Deepshould be a high priority for players to acquire and use all of them before the season ends. Deepsight Harmonizers are a sweet treat for casual players who may have missed some ofDestiny 2’s past seasonal weapons, and also a great tool for veteran players to further complete their collections. These items are anticipated to return in futureDestiny 2seasons, although it’s in every player’s best interest to use them soon after obtaining them, especially when it makes the difference of unlocking a new craftable weapon.
Fishing inDestiny 2is a fairly laid-back activity that every Guardian should settle down and play at least once this season. At this point, there’s no telling how long the Fishing activity will be available in the game due to its popularity in the community potentially extending its availability, so it’s at least worth a try while it’s currently available. Not to mention, fishing inDestiny 2is a very low-effort way to earn loot as long as players have enough bait to partake in the activity. Fishing also appears to be tied to Season of the Deep’s upcoming Exotic scout rifle, the Wicked Implement, although more information will become available regarding this weapon after week nine of the season and onward.
Another thing for players to make sure to complete before Season of the Deep ends is to finish eight of the transmog bounties from Ada-1, per each character class. Each season gives players a chance to unlock more free armor ornaments inDestiny 2’s transmog systemregardless of whether players own the season pass or not. This is something that everyone should remember to complete anytime throughout a given season inDestiny 2, and the new Ghosts of the Deep dungeon is the perfect opportunity to finish some dungeon-specific transmog bounties. Every season inDestiny 2adds at least one full five-piece set of armor, so consistently getting all eight of the transmog bounties complete helps to balance out the scales in players' favor slowly over each Season.
While the Ghoul title from the newGhosts of the Deep dungeonisn’t going anywhere soon, players who collect titles inDestiny 2should be mindful of collecting the Aquanaut title before any of the required content becomes unavailable. The Deep Dives and Salvage seasonal activities are expected to stay around for at least the next two seasons inDestiny 2, although fishing may not be around as long.
On top of that,Destiny 2players should shoot for their highest available Guardian Rank before Season of the Deep ends, for bragging rights. Each Season resets playerGuardian Ranks inDestiny 2, but getting to certain thresholds helps players to shortcut the process after it resets. It’s also worth mentioning that before the season ends, players should claim all their seasonal engrams and those tied to playlist activities as well, all while also trying to finish up the Exotic Catalyst for the Centrifuse auto rifle. Finally, players should also grab the new Strand Aspects for each class after completing the Parting the Veil mission on Neomuna.
Destiny 2is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
