Summary
Like all Souls releases,Elden Ringunlocks the New Game+ feature upon finishing the campaign. This allows players to start a new playthrough in the Lands Between using the same Tarnished with the acquired equipment and items from the first playthrough.
Before they move over to NG+, players should make sure they have finished some things first, like usingthe Clouded Mirror Standin Roundtable Hold to design a new character or collect the desired items and armors to start the newElden Ringjourney in style.

The same case applies to the Shadow Land, which ispart of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. It’s important to know which items move to NG+ as it will be a waste to go around the map and collect materials that will disappear. Luckily for players who prefer crafting, most of the necessary items will stay in the inventory after going to NG+.
19Find All Celestial Dew
Carry Out Absolution
Celestial Dewis a consumable item that allows players tocarry out an Absolution at the Church of Vows inElden Ring. Basically, if you ever made an NPC hostile by mistake or on purpose, you can reverse this effect by using a Celestial Dew at the Church of Vows in Liurnia of the Lakes.

Master Powerful Spells And Incantations
There are eight Prayerbooks scattered around the world ofElden Ring, and Tarnished should collect them before starting a new journey:

17Collect All The Dragon Hearts
Unlock Powerful Incantations
Killing dragons inElden Ringrewards Tarnished with Dragon Hearts, and each dragon drops a certain number of hearts. For example, the Flying Dragon Agheel drops one heart, whilethe Sleeping Dragon drops five. These Key Items are used to purchase special Incantations from Dragon Communion.
Even if players don’t use any Incarnations, it’s better to buy them all, as it’s possible to play in another build in the next playthrough. People can easily use the rebirth option after fightingRennala, the Queen of the Full Moon, and change the character’s stat.
16Obtain All Larval Tears
Gain The Ability To Respec
Larval Tearsare importantKey Items that can be obtained through various methods inElden Ring. After defeating Rennala in Raya Lucaria Academy, she’ll offer players the chance to respec in exchange for one Larval Tear per rebirth. It is highly crucial that Tarnished collect all the tears, even if they don’t plan on utilizing Rennala’s Great Rune.
Most of the Larval Tears can be found in Liurnia of the Lakes or Nokron, the Eternal City. Keep in mind that Tarnished need to kill Starscourge Radahn to reach the hidden city, by progressing through Ranni’s quest or exploring Redmane Castle.
15Collect All Stonesword Keys
Use Stonesword Keys To Access Hidden Areas
Stonesword Keysare used to unlock Imp Statue seals. The important thing to note here is that this Key Item stays in the players’ inventory even if they start the NG+. So, Tarnished should collect them all, as unattained keys will be lost once people start a new journey.
Stonesword Keys are eitherpurchased or looted from a corpse in various locations inElden Ring. Purchasing this Key Item can be either done at the Roundtable Hold (Twin Maiden Husks), or from merchants encountered while exploring.
14Collect Spirit Ashes
Summon An Ally To Help In Battles
Spirit Ashes are a type of summon where players use FP/HP to summon creatures from another realm to aid them in battles. While exploring the Lands Between, you can’tsummon Spirit Ashes whenever you want. Instead, Tarnished must wait for the summon sign to appear to call forth some spirits.
Although it’s necessary to collect all Spirit Ashes, make sure to at least obtain the following summons as they are considered legendary:
Defeat the Cemetery Shade located in the Tombsward Catacombs.
Black Knife Tiche
Defeat Alecto, Black Knife Ringleader inside the Ringleader’s Evergaol located in the Moonlight Altar.
Redmane Knight Ogha
Defeat the Putrid Tree Spirit inside the War-Dead Catacombs in Caelid. To access this catacomb, players must defeat General Radahn.
Open the chest located in Night’s Sacred Ground.
Ancient Dragon Knight Kristoff
Defeat the Ancient Hero of Zamor boss inside the Sainted Hero’s Grave found west of the Royal Capital.
Cleanrot Knight Finlay Ashes
Open the chest that’s protected by a Cleanrot Knight in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree.
13Cracked Pot
Craft A Powerful Throwable Item
Cracked Potis a throwable item used to deal damage or inflict a certain state from a distance.The more Cracked Pots you collect, the more you can craft to use. Consuming one of them means players need to craft another one to re-use it. Crafting different pots is possible by obtaining Cookbooks recipes. While exploring the Lands Between, you can pick up 20 Cracked Pots that will stay with you upon starting a new game.
12Perfume Bottle
Catch Enemies Off Guard
Perfume Bottlehas the same mechanics as Cracked Pots in terms of crafting and Cookbooks, but you do need to use them near the enemy for the best results.The idea of the Perfume Bottleis that you can only hold 10 and upon use, Tarnished will blow in the direction of the target to inflict a status effect.

10Offer Bell Bearings To Twin Maiden Husks
Expand Twin Maiden Husks Shop
Unfortunately,not all Bell Bearings will be available in the New Game+. The ones that belong to NPCs like Seulvis, Thops, and all Merchants can’t be found in NG+, players will need to recollect them. The only Bell Bearings that move to the new journey are:
