Marvel’s Spider-ManPC release was a surprise to many, but a very welcome one. With the port came many possibilities, from higher resolution to framerate to mods. Since the recent release of the sequel, many players are already wondering about when the second installment willfollow its predecessor to Windows.
Since the first game’s PC release in 2022, the modding community has been hard at work in making all kinds of improvements to the game. While many of the mods focus on new suits to play with, the list goes far beyond. Nexus Mods has quite an extensive collection and grows larger by the day, showcasing the authors' creativity and persistence.
9Real Brands and Ads Revamp

While nobody enjoys ads, in or out of the game, they have become inseparable from the modern world, and certain locations, like Times Square, are a great example of that. Different billboards and bright screens fill the space, showcasing different products and services.
The mod replaces the made-up companies and ads with actual existing products, doing quite a lot to increase players’ immersion. After all, an incredible amount of work has gone into replicating the city of New York, sowhy not add just a few more details?
8Expressive Animations V3.0

The vanilla game has done an incredible job with animations, and arguably Spider-Man has never looked or moved better on a gaming screen before. However, there is always space for additions and improvements, and this mod aims to add new ways that the familiar hero moves and fights.
The mod takes inspiration from Andrew Garfield inThe Amazing Spider-Man 2and does a great job of incorporating the movie’s movements into the game. From dynamic leaps and jump tricks to Web tunneling and swing kicks, the mod breathes fresh air into the game’s already great movement.
7PS4 face restoration mod

The remastered version of the game features a new Peter Parker model, and many players were unpleasantly surprised by the change. The studio claims that the change has been done in order to make him look more like the character’s voice actor, Yuri Lowenthal.
However, many still wanted to use the older character model, which made Peter much more mature and experienced. This mod allows players to revert the character to its original look, whetherfor preference or nostalgia’s sake.
6Webbed Suit (Black)

It is a very detailed, and movie-accurate suit, which also comes with special web effects. Bully Maguire may be a meme, but that costume still looks fantastic.
