Ahead of its release, fans have learned some exciting details regarding how it will run on the portable system.

Recently, it was revealed thatMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredhad been officially verified for the Steam Deck. This news came from an August 3 tweet from Insomniac Games. “Marvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredis Steam Deck Verified!” the tweet read with a green check mark attached to the end of the message.
This verification means that fans should be able to playMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredon the Steam Deck and have the title run reliably when it releases for PC on August 12. Based on information from Valve, this verification program helps provide quality assurance to those playing certain games on the system. According to the company, games likeMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredmust meet requirements in four different areas in order to be verified on the Steam Deck. These requirements include reaching certain standards in Input, Seamlessness, Display, and System Support.
While this news aboutMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredbeing Steam Deck verified is noteworthy, it is not the onlySpider-Mangame coming to PC. In addition toMarvel’s Spider-Man Remastered,Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Moralesis expected to release on PC, potentially later this year. However, it is yet to be revealed if this title will be verified for the Steam Deck likeMarvel’s Spider-Man Remastered.
Fortunately, those excited to tryMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredon the Steam Deck but still waiting to receive their system recently received some good news.
