Potential Spoilers AHEADAfter the previous Gym types, Elite four types, and Team Star types leak, knownPokemon Scarlet and Violetleaker Kaka reveals the order in which players will face those types for Team Star. It should be noted thatPokemon Scarlet and Violetare open-world gameswith three distinct storylines, although some details such as how gyms are balanced remain to be seen. However, it has been said players can go straight to the Elite Four and Champion, but they won’t be able to battle them because there is a “test” where the 8 gym badges are required.

Based on Kaka’s comments, though, it seems the Team Star storyline is more or less straightforward. This is because they’ve provided a distinctive order by which players will battle the Team Star bosses. Of course, this is not official information, so fans should take it with a grain of salt. Kaka and Riddler Khu have been reliable sources ofPokemon Scarlet and Violetleaksover the past few weeks/months, so this isn’t just from some dark corner of the internet.

According to Kaka (and recapped by PearlEnthusiast), the order of Team Star bosses is Fire, Dark, Poison, Fairy, and Fighting OR Fire, Dark, Poison, Fighting, and Fairy. The first three are the same, and players have already met Team Star’s boss of the fire crew Mela. It’s uncertain why the last two are swapped, though. It’s either Kaka may not have been able to remember exactly or it could be that one Team Star order is exclusive toPokemon Scarletand the other toPokemon Violet. It could also be that choices send players after one Boss before another. Mela is the first either way, and based on recentPokemon Scarlet and Violettrailers, it seems players will face her for the first time early on. Players who choose Quaxly may be at an advantage as a result.

Interestingly though, the rumored Poison/Steel Engine Pokemon powers Team Star’s big iconic car, and it seems to be a common symbol for Team Star. However, it seems players will face it as the third Team Boss. By that point though, players will likely have enough Pokemon to counter it effectively, again depending on when the Team Star bosses are fought and how exactlyPokemon Scarlet and Violet’s three storylinesdevelop.

Of course, players may also want to keep the Gym Leaders and Elite Four in mind as well. Their “order,” if there is one, has yet to be revealed, but thePokemon Scarlet and VioletGym leader and Elite Four leakrevealed the following:

Pokemon Scarlet and Violetwill release on November 18, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
