Pokemon ScarletandVioletmay very well get a new trailer soon, either in May or June, but thus far, the only trustworthy information came from the official announcement on Pokemon Day in February. Ever since the reveal of Generation 9 games, many alleged leakers have been posting information online that’s supposedly about features orevolutionary lines inPokemon ScarletandViolet. Still, it’s quite hard to navigate these alleged leaks and figure out what has the potential of being true and what is blatantly fake, but there are some insiders with information that did become believable over time.
Among the most prominent “leakers” in thePokemonuniverse at the moment is one that’s called Riddler Khu, who has successfully predicted a lot of things regardingPokemongames and even the anime more recently. It’s unclear what Khu’s ties to The Pokemon Company are or in what capacity they get access to reserved information, butPokemon Legends: Arceusis a good example of the fact that Khu did get everything right beforehand. As forPokemon ScarletandViolet, Khu only shared a few enigmatic riddles that didn’t find a solution up until now.

Apparently, aPokemonfan deciphered the code of one of Khu’s latest riddles that were meant to be for a couple of new regional forms inPokemon ScarletandViolet. The riddle involved numbers and letters, and thePokemonplayer who ended up cracking the code noticed that they were the hexadecimal values corresponding to HTML codes that match very specific colors. These colors are the same blue that The Pokemon Company uses for Water-type critters and the same brown hues that make the symbol for Ground-type monsters.
Another important detail comes from the original riddle’s four numbers followed by a question mark, with them being 2, 3, 4, and 5.Pokemongames from Generation 2 to Generation 5 were the only ones to feature Water/Ground-type Pokemon in the regional Pokedex, and the list comprises Quagsire, Gastrodon, Whiscash, Seismitoad, and Swampert. Thus, the fan who deciphered the riddle explains that it means that one of these five critters will indeed get aregional form inPokemon ScarletandViolet, with a great candidate being Swampert due to its popularity.
Oddly enough, a few days prior to this leak being shared by Khu, pictures of anew regional form for Diglett inPokemon ScarletandVioletsurfaced online. The alleged leak shows a massive Diglett with its head in the clouds, almost as if it was a Gigantamax version of the base Pokemon, and it’s rumored to be a Water/Ground-type critter. This information is still not guaranteed to be true, and thus fans should take it with a pinch of salt until new trailers are shared to prove anything.
