In the remakes forPokemon DiamondandPokemon Pearl,Brilliant DiamondandShining Pearl, there’s still only one way for players toevolve Chansey into Blissey, and that’s byincreasing its Happiness/Friendship level. Even if a trainer raises Chansey’s level to 100, it won’t evolve into Blissey without having high Friendship.

How to Check and Increase Happiness of a Pokemon
Tocheck the Friendship/Happiness levels of Pokemon inBrilliant DiamondandShining Pearl, trainers can unlock an application for their Poketch in Eterna City. Speak to the brown-haired woman in the Pokemon Center, and she will give players the Friendship Checker app. Scroll through the Poketch apps, and the Friendship Checker app will be the one with all the Pokemon floating around the screen. If players hold the A button over the Pokemon, hearts will come out. The more hearts that the Pokemon has, the happier it is.
And toraise a Pokemon’s happiness, players can try to do all of these things with their Chansey. Eventually, the Pokemon will evolve into Blissey once the Happiness value reaches 220.
How to Get Chansey in Pokemon BDSP
One of the easiest ways to get a Chansey in the Sinnoh region is to get theegg from the Hiker in Hearthome Cityandwalk about 10,00 steps until it hatches into a Happiny. After getting Happiny, players need to level it up during the day whileholding an Oval Stone. If players don’t want to raise the Happiny, they cancatch a wild Chanseyin a few different locations.
However, there’s only a5% chance of finding Chansey at the listed locations above. Training Happiny might be a better move if players aren’t patient.
