That said, there is some value to this transition, as the game’s overall setting and style of world-building would fit nicely within a larger game world....

DeveloperCodemasters,the studio behind theDirtandFormula 1franchises, has been negotiating with several publishers in an effort to secure an acquisition. Recently,Take-Two Interactive was at the forefront of these discussions, with the major publisher behind series includingGrand Theft Auto,BioShock,andRed Dead Redemptionmaking a substantial offer to acquire Codemasters. However, it retracted the offer after Electronic Arts submitted a more lucrative bid. Since then, EA has been the big name looking to bring Codemasters into its stable of studios, and it seems a deal with the company is relatively close to being locked in....

Update 2/19: An update is expected to roll out today, February 19, to fix the issue with theCyberpunk 2077PS4 discs not working. Original story follows. Following the recent next-generation update forCyberpunk 2077and the subsequent patch 1.5, the game is reportedly broken for those on the PS4 physical disc version. Though the exact cause is unclear the developer behindCyberpunk 2077has claimed that it’s currently looking into the issue. Cyberpunk 2077has been years in the making with the teaser trailer dating back to as far as 2013....

Patch notes forDark Souls 3’s upcoming The Ringed City DLC launch have been made available on the official Japanese website. That patch, which has been translated within theDark Souls 3community, is tentatively planned for release on March 24. That’s four days prior to theofficial launch of The Ringed City DLC. Note that while the patch is coming to all supported platforms, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, it’ll also includePvP arenas exclusive to Ashes of Ariandeland Season Pass purchasers....

FortniteSeason 10 has gone live, aptly named Out of Time and confirming speculation that the season’s focus will be on revisiting past events from the battle royale’s previous seasons. Also new isFortnite’s themed Event and Mission challenge system, replacing the familiar Daily and Weekly challenges. The individual challenges within each Event and Mission will be exactly the same, but how challenges unlock and how rewards are given has been changed - hopefully for the better....
