AnOverwatch 2player’s cat seems to be enjoying the game’s queue screen. Since launching in October,Overwatch 2players had less-than-ideal experiences, which included glitches and long queue times.
There had been many controversies surroundingOverwatch 2evenbefore its official launch. One was shifting to a 5v5 format from 6v6, which changed the lineup of mostOverwatchLeague teams. Despite this, players were excited to try the sequel game out to see what was new and different. While many are enjoying the gameplay, there are also those who seem disappointed byOverwatch 2’s game-breaking bugs, server errors, and other problems.

A common complaint among players has beenOverwatch 2’s long queue times. The loading screen during queue had become a normal sight for players, and apparently, even cats seem entertained by it. Reddit user sunsongdreamer uploaded an adorable clip of their tuxedo cat sitting in front of a TV and watching the queue animation intently. In the post caption, they said at least someone was enjoying the long wait.
FellowOverwatch 2players loved seeing the cat’s apparent interest in the queue animation. The clip seemed to be a much-needed break from the usual complaints posted on the subreddit. It’s also similar to the timereal-life cats watched their owners playStray.
Long queue and loading times in games could greatly affect players' experiences. Blizzard devs have acknowledged the problem and said that they’re always evaluating the game’s queue times to find ways to improve them, especially since there had been reports that tank and damage players were more likely toexperience long queues inOverwatch 2. With the upcoming addition of tank hero Ramattra, it might even be more difficult to get in.
However, it seems that players are still experiencing the same problem. SomeOverwatch 2fans even suggested a “better” auto queue system, which they hope Blizzard will implement in the future. With the game just a month old, it might take some time for Blizzard to fully fix the many issues plaguing it. At the very least, players can expect regularOverwatch 2patches that will hopefully address these issues little by little.
Overwatch 2is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
