3 years later and after the successfulRise of the Angry Earthexpansion and plenty of quality-of-life updates later, the title is now heading to a new home: current generation Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 consoles andGame Ranthas beta keys to give away on both platforms.
New World: Aeternummerges the base game, the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion, and new in-game content in a single package available to pre-order on the PlayStation, Xbox, and PC storefronts before its October 15th launch.
Things To Know About the New World: AeternumClosed Beta
Amazon has already stated thatNew World: Aeternumis not expected to have a Closed Beta on PC since the focus is on gaining feedback about the upcoming console release. As a result, anyone who enters the giveaway must own a PlayStation 5 console (disc or digital edition) or an Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X console to participate in the closed beta.
It’s worth noting that a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Core or PlayStation Plus is not required for the Closed Beta but will be required for the final game. Cross-play is enabled during the Confidential Closed Beta. Progress, however, will be wiped and not carried over to the main game at launch.
Also, the Hive of Gorgons Raid, Leaderboards, in-game Store, and Season Pass will not be accessible during theNew World AeternumConsole Closed Beta and players will also not be able to purchase Marks of Fortune before the title formally launches.

While Xbox codes for the Closed Beta are exclusively for the North American region, PlayStation 5 gamers have two options. Currently, two PlayStation storefronts are participating in the closed beta in the North American (NA) and certain European (EU) regions.
