Zilliax Deluxe 3000 is a new neutral Legendary minion coming toHearthstoneinWhizbang’s Workshop. However, unlike most minions, Zilliax Deluxe 3000 does not have set stats, cost, or even keywords. Instead, when players add it to their decks, they are able to pick and choose two of eight different modules, which are combined to create the statistics and abilities of their Zilliax, allowing it to fit in any deck. Fans can even choose one of eight different pieces of artwork to use for their creation, meaning there are technically 224 permutations players can make with Zilliax Deluxe 3000.

Hearthstonesenior game designer and initial design lead Cora Georgiou went into detail about the process of creating this card on her personal Twitter.Hearthstonedevs come up with tons of cards, and given the toy shop theme ofWhizbang’s Workshop,Hearthstonewanted to make a card that let players become designers as well. While fans have been able to do so to an extent with Kazakus, Ignis, and similar cards, Zilliax Deluxe 3000 took the sideboard technology from E.T.C., Band Manager to createHearthstone’s most ambitious card yet.
Fans might recognize Zilliax from the Boomsday Project,Hearthstone’s ninth expansion. The mad science set was the first to introduce the Magnetic mechanic, and Zilliax was one of the most iconic Mechs to use it. With five keywords on a single card, and the memorable “Unity. Precision. Perfection.” voice line, he quickly joined the ranks oficonicHearthstoneLegendary minions, leading to his return inWhizbang’s Workshop.
Blizzard’s collectible card game has some big plans for its 10-year anniversary. In-game events, Twitch Drops, and even acollaboration withWorld of Warcraftare coming throughout the next month. Right now, players can pick up the Harth Stonebrew and Colifero Legendary minions and a cycle of Gift cards for each class simply by logging in.
