Last year, it was confirmed that Traveller’s Tales would be returning to the series that started itsLEGOvideo game success withLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Fans have been waiting patiently for more information onLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and while more concrete details are still unavailable at the time of this writing, the game’s release date may have been leaked.
The officialStar WarsYouTube channel recently posted a video that served as a round-up of all of theStar Wars Day newsfrom May 4. According to the video, theLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagarelease date is June 21, 2025. However, with no formal announcement about the release date, it seems as though this video spilled the beans a little early. The fact that the video has since been removed from YouTube is further proof of this.

After all, if aLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagarelease date was set to be announced, one would imagine that it would happen during the Star Wars Day celebrations. Instead of a release date, Warner Bros. Interactive revealed theLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagabox art, which looks great, but is much less exciting for fans.
It’s possible that the October 20 date is the current plan for theLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagarelease date, but thatWarner Bros.isn’t completely confident that the game will be able to release then. Perhaps the company is anticipating development delays due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and so it’s hesitant to announce the release date just in case the game ends up getting pushed back.
However, that’s just speculation at this time. It’s just as possible that October 20 is indeed the set in stoneLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagarelease date, but that Warner Bros. is just wanting to make the official announcement at a later date. There were rumors thatWarner Bros. was going to have an E3 2020 press conferencethis year, so maybe theLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagarelease date announcement was going to be made at that event. If so, it’s possible the announcement is being saved for a Summer Game Fest reveal instead.
Whatever the case may be,LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagais set to feature theStar Warssequel trilogyfor the first time inLEGO Star Warshistory, alongside the original trilogy and prequels. It’s said to have over 500 playable characters, making it one of the most massiveLEGOgames to date, and so hopefully it lives up to expectations.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagais rumored to be launching on October 20 for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
