Dragon’s Dogma 2features eight playable classes, or Vocations as they are called, for the players. Four of these Vocations are major ones that are unlocked from the start of the game, and the rest of them are advanced and require a few requirements.

After presenting Klaus, the Vocation Guild Master, with the Archistaff and unlocking the Vocation, you need to make your way to Roderick’s Smithy, situated near the center of Vernworth next to the fountain. The NPC here will be selling the weapon for 1m540 Gold if you need to purchase it from him. This can be quite a lot of Gold to spend on a weapon early on in the game, but the game offers a lot ofways to acquire Gold, be it through chests or by completing quests.
As the game progresses, you will acquire better weapons for your Vocations, and you can even purchase better ones from the Smithy merchants located in different areas of the world map.
