In the beginning couple of runs inHades 2,Melinoemight encounter some lonely Shades (those green/blue-colored ghosts) in Erebus and other areas leading deeper into the Underworld. When you go up to them, the game will ask you to Compel them with the tap of the right bumper, but you’ll need a tool in order to do so. In this guide, we’ll show youhow to Compel Shadesand what effect it has inHades 2.
How to Get the Tablet of Peace in Hades 2
To Compel Shades inHades 2, Melinoe will first need access to Tools. Before making the Tablet of Peace needed to compel, you must unlock theNight’s Craftwork Incantationfrom thecauldron in front of Hecatesback at The Crossroads.
Once you have that unlocked, head down into the area near the Underworld entrance, where you may pick your weapons and train with the skeleton NPC. Inspect the glowing circle in the middle of the smaller circles and then tab over to the Gathering Tools section in the menu that appears.
To get the Tablet of Peace, you’ll need 5 Silver and 5 Psyche. To get Silver, you’ll need to unlock the Crescent Pick tool first and then look for mining spots in The Underworld.
After forging the Tablet, verify to equip it by selecting it from the options below the weapons circle. you may only have one Tool on Melinoe at a time.
How to Compel Shades in Hades 2
Now that you have the Table of Peace, you can go up to a Shade in The Underworld and press the button to Compel. A little mini-game will happen in which players need to hold the left and right triggers depending on what’s shown on the screen.
Once the four circles are lit blue, you’ll getPsyche,and the Shade will head back to The Crossroads.
Melinoe can use Psyche inHades 2to activate more Arcana Cards, helping her get past more dangerous foes in The Underworld and making it a little easier to reach Chronos.
