Reddit user Inspire_Props has shared an impressive video on the officialGenshin Impactsubreddit that gathered over 700 upvotes. The video reveals their real-life replica of the popular sword named Mistsplitter Reforged, which is part of the Inazuma weapon series. The Redditor is known in the community for creating and sharingsimilar type ofGenshin Impactprojectsthat always get a lot of attention This weapon debuted back in July 2021 with the release of the new Inazuma region duringGenshin Impactupdate 2.0. Even though it does not suit her design, Mistsplitter serves as the signature weapon for the Cryo user Kamisato Ayaka.
The weapon is also known for its flexibility as it can be used by almost every other swordDPS character inGenshin Impactthanks to its high Crit Damage value. Its passive gives a 12-24% elemental damage buff and grants the holder an effect called Mistsplitter’s Emblem. This effect has three stacks, and it additionally increases the character’s elemental damage by 8-56%, based on the refinement level. Those stacks can be obtained whenever a Normal Attack is infused with elemental damage and when the character uses their burst.
The weapon is also a great fit for the popular Anemo support Kazuha, who has the ability to deal tons of elemental damage, as well as provide strong damage buffs to his teammates. According to arecentGenshin Impactsurvey, Kazuha is considered a must-have character for most types of team compositions that want to compete in the last couple of floors of the Spiral Abyss.
Some players claim that it could potentially be used by the upcoming Dendro DPS character Alhaitham who is scheduled to arrive inGenshin Impactupdate 3.4 alongside Yaoyao. Mistplitter could be the go-to choice for players that don’t plan to pull for Alhaitham’s signature weapon. According to HoYoverse’s usual update schedule, version 3.4 should arrive around January 18.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
