The long-awaitedGenshin Impactversion 3.0 is available now, allowing players to continue the main story in the region of Sumeru. Sumeru introduces brand-new characters to obtain through event wishes, and Collei is among one of the easiest characters to obtain for free inGenshin Impact.
Genshin Impactversion 3.0 introduces the “Graven Innocence” event with multiple steps to unlock rewards such as Primogems, EXP materials, Mora, and thenew playable character Collei. Fortunately, players do not have to progress far into the event to obtain Collei as a playable member of theGenshin Impactroster. Players must complete the Graven Innocence tutorial quest called “The Unappreciated Carving” to receive Collei as a reward. The tutorial quest provides the simple task of heading to a location and talking to Collei to obtain her.

Introduced in version 2.6,Genshin Impact’squick start feature also allows players to fast-track their way to the latest events in version 3.0. The feature was designed for returning players who want to catch up with the latest in-game content released by HoYoverse. Those interested in jumping into somenew Sumeru content inGenshin Impactmay use the quick start feature to skip prerequisites and start the Graven Innocence event. However, players must first complete Prologue: Act 1 to unlock the quick start feature inGenshin Impact.
The official requirements for the Graven Innocence Event include completing the “The Trail of the God of Wisdom” quest in Chapter 3: Act 1 and obtaining Adventure Rank 20 inGenshin Impact. Since the quick start feature eliminates the quest prerequisite, all players with Adventure Rank 20 may activate The Unappreciated Carving quest. Since Collei’s quest is very short, players may obtain her right away in Sumeru.
Collei is among the most popular Sumeru characters leading up to the launch ofGenshin Impactversion 3.0. Fortunately, she’s free to all who participate in the Graven Innocence event. Players have until the end ofGenshin Impactversion 3.0 to complete the quest and obtain Collei for free.HoYoverse adjusted its update schedule forGenshin Impactand version 3.0 ends around September 28. The overall duration ofGenshin Impactupdates up to version 3.3 is roughly five weeks each.
