Genshin Impacthas become very familiar with leaks throughout its nearly two-year-long lifespan as the game often sees a plethora of content revealed early. Everything from new playable characters joining the roster likethe highly-anticipated Scaramoucheto upcoming regions and quests tends to be leaked well in advance. The game’s gacha system is no exception, with players often getting a sneak peek at upcoming gacha banners. Now, a prominent leaker has revealed the four-star characters set to join Yoimiya later in Version 2.8.
HoYoVerse officially announced during the Version 2.8 Special Program thatGenshin Impact’s newest update would feature a Yoimiya re-run during the second half. The return of Yoimiya will mark her first availability since the introduction of the Inazuma region last year. While Yoimiya’s banner underperformed due to being placed between two of the game’s most successful banners, she became popular among fans through her involvement with the Inazuma story. Now,Genshin’s newest leaks have shown the characters joining Yoimiya on her re-run banner.

A post to the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit revealed the trio of four-star characters set to feature alongside Yoimiya. Sourced to reliableGenshinleaker Uncle Y, the post used nicknames to allude to the three four-star characters with Bennett, Barbara, and Yun Jin set to co-star alongside Yoimiya. Each character has been a popular choice throughoutGenshin’s many limited banners, with all three already featuring on a banner earlier this year. Most recently, Yun Jin appeared on the banners forAyato and Venti’s most recent re-runat the start of Version 2.6.
As with past banners, the four-star characters featured alongside Yoimiya are framed around their synergy with the character, with each providing different benefits forYoimiya’s normal attacking playstyle. Bennett can provide Pyro resonance for Yoimiya teams as well as his Elemental Burst providing an ATK boost. Yun Jin’s Elemental Burst strengthens the Normal Attack damage of the active character based on her own DEF. Barbara is one ofGenshin’s most consistent and reliable healers and can also give Yoimiya access to the powerful Vaporize elemental reaction.
While Yoimiya’s return will look to see greater success than the character’s first outing, the banner once again comes just before a major update toGenshin Impact. Version 3.0 is set to arrive directly after her re-run, bringing with it not only the Sumeru region but the first characters inGenshin Impact’s seventh element, Dendro.Genshin Impacthas also seen a number of leaks relating to upcoming patches with a plethora of Sumeru-based characters revealed. Yoimiya’s four-star characters will look to be a strong pairing for players looking to pick her up when her banner arrives early next month.
