Genshin Impact’s most recent major update has added tons of new locations including a brand new opera house named Opera Epiclese. This building also functions as the main courthouse of Fontaine which makes it one of the most important locations in all of Fontaine, especially considering that this region isthe home of the God of Justice. The house is located on an island named Erinnyes, and it hosts various types of events, from trails to magic shows performed by Lyney and her assistant Lynette. When looked at from a certain angle, a part of the complex looks like a giant guillotine. The post attracted a lot of attention as it gathered over 5.5k upvotes. It does not come as a surprise that a guillotine might have been a source of inspiration for the design of certain parts of Fontaine sincethis newGenshin Impactregionis based on 1910s France.
The whole design of the Hydro nation seems to be a combination of the Steampunk France and a futuristic theme which makes it stand out from the fourpreviously releasedGenshin Impactregions. Players seem to be very excited about the new region which also introduced a mechanic that allows them to dive deep underwater and explore a brand-new world that is different from anything else they’ve experienced so far in the world of Teyvat.
Even though the Sumeru arc had a pattern of adding new parts of the world every other update, recent leaks have already revealed thatGenshin Impactversion 4.1will introduce a new island located in the northern part of the region. The game’s official social media accounts have already confirmed the arrival of two new characters for the next update, Neuvillete and Wriothesley.
