AGenshin Impactplayer has shared an impressive fan-art that turns six popular characters into majestic birds. The addition of a new character to the roster is probably the most exciting part of every new version of the game. Unlike many other gacha-based titles, this game runs on a very tight update schedule which allows HoYoverse to constantly expand the pool of playable characters.
So far,Genshin Impacthas introduced 65 playable units with Dehya and Mika being the latest additions. Players can acquire Mika by wishing on the ongoing double banner that features Ayaka and Shenhe as the two limited five-stars. However, Travelers that missed Dehya’s banner will have it much harder to get this Pyro user since HoYoverse confirmed that she will join the Standard Banner after update 3.5 ends.

A Reddit user by the name Gerrymon96 has shared an interesting fan-made image that shows how six different characters would look like if they were birds. The art features four large birds that represent Alhaitham, Kaveh, Keaya, and Diluc, and two smaller birds that look like Xiao and Mika. The first bird from the left has the same color theme as therecently added Dendro user Alhaithamwho was part of the previous Genshin Impact update 3.4. He is a respectful member of the Akademiya known for his rationality which was showcased in Sumeru’s main Archon Chapter. He’s carrying a much smaller bird on top of his talons which represents the Anemo user Xiao.
Even though the art does not specify the character’s identity, it’s quite easy to guess based on the color palette and the small weapon which is supposed to be the Primordial Jade Winged-Spear, Xiao’s signature weapon. The third character from the left is Alhaitham’s troublesome roommate, Kaveh.
HoYoverse has officially confirmed his arrival over a month ago, but Kaveh is yet to join the playable roster. He will appear in the first part of theupcomingGenshin Impactupdate 3.6alongside Nahida and Nilou. The concept also features the new four-star character Mika which is represented by the adorable yellow bird on the far right. He is known as a shy but friendly character who’s also a member of the Reconnaissance Company of the Knights of Favonios.
The two remaining characters, Diluc and Keaya, are siblings but they are not blood-related since Kaeya was adopted by Crepus Ragnvindr, Diluc’s father. These two characters are known for their love-hate relationship which was one of themain plots in the Mondstadt arc.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
