PVP against other players inGenshin ImpactGenius Invokation TCG is not competitive, so there’s no reward involved for doing it. However, players can also have a taste of PVP-like matches against NPCs that are invited into the Tavern. These Invitational matches reward character cards and their special cards, so Travelers should do their best when fighting these NPCs.

Here are some great teams for PVP and NPC invitational matches inGenshin ImpactGenius Invokation TCG.
4Xingqiu + Ayaka + Mona
In thisGenshin ImpactGenius Invokation TCG team, Ayaka is the star of the party. Xingqiu will be the main support that creates permafreeze on the enemies, while Mona is only a switch support.
Mona
Typically, if players switch the active character, they will lose the turn as it’s considered a Combat Action. However,Mona’s passive allows the switch from her to another character to be considered a Fast Action. Therefore, to ease the switch in the next round, players would want to end the round with Mona as the active character.
Other than for this purpose,Mona shouldn’t be used to make any move.

Xingqiu
Travelers should focus on getting Xingqiu’s Elemental Burst. With only two Energy required to use his ultimate, it should be easy to cast.Don’t hesitate to let Xingqiu be killed if that’s what it takes to have his Burst active. After getting Xingqiu’s ultimate, the combo he does with Ayaka has a high probability of winning, so the sacrifice will be worth it.
Ayaka
Ayaka’s passive grants her Cryo Infusion when she’s swapped to become the active character.Since Xingqiu’s ultimate will only triggerwhen the active character uses Normal Attack, Ayaka should focus on getting the Infusion and use her Basic Attack. Luckily, Mona’s passive will make this task trivial.
The combination between her Cryo and Xingqiu’s Hydro will grant an easy road to permafreeze, disabling the frozen character for the entire round.

3Oceanid + Fischl + Diluc
This team will use either Fischl or Diluc as the main DPS, while Oceanidperforms as a support to summon Hydro Mimics. Assuming the enemy has no Element on them, the combination of Oceanid’s summons and Fischl’s Oz guarantees players to deal Electro-Charged DMG at the end of each turn. If the enemy has another Element on them, then another Elemental Reaction will still be triggered.
Oceanid
Oceanid’s role in this team is simply to create Hydro Mimics. If players plan for the enemy to end the round with an Element on them, then it’s best for the Oceanid to cast the move that costs five Hydro Dice to summon two Mimics. Otherwise, just use the normal Skill and spend three Hydro Dice to get one Mimic.
Diluc
Diluc can create acheap and easy Pyro DMG from his Skill. With the assistance of his talent card, artifact, and support card like Ellin, he can cast his Skill with minimum cost. If players manage to use this move three times in a single Round, the Darknight will deal two extra DMG. Three moves will also unlock his Elemental Burst, allowing people to deal crazy single-target damage.

If the enemy has Hydro from Oceanid’s Mimics or Electro from Oz, Pyro will react with them to create Vaporize or Overloaded Reaction. Vaporize simply increases damage dealt by two points, but Overloaded has an extra effect that forces the opponent to switch to the next character.
Fischl
Now, if things don’t go well and players can’t do the Diluc plan, thenFischl can come to the rescue. After using her talent card, Fischl can perform a joint attack with Oz if the raven exists on the field. This allows players to deal Physical and Electro DMG at the same time. Additionally, if Fischl has Skyward Harp equipped, then she’ll deal some crazy damage that’s sure to destroy the opponent’s cards.
2Bennett + Chongyun + Mirror Maiden
With this team, players can useChongyun and Mirror Maiden to deal some great single-target Burst damage. Bennett’s Burst will act as both a buffer and a healer, allowing people to one-shot enemy’s cards.
Mirror Maiden
Mirror Maiden has an annoying ability calledRefractionthat can increase Hydro DMG and disrupt the enemy’s movements. After using her talent card, she causes the opponent to need one extra Dice whenever they wish to switch the affected character out. Pair this with Mirror Maiden’s easy-to-cast Burst to quickly beat the enemy.
Bennett
Bennett has a one-of-a-kind ability that grants both a massive damage boost and healing. If players manage to get Bennett’s talent card and cast his Burst with it, the Adventurer can now heal and buff at the same time.
With Chongyun’s Elemental Skill, players can easily deal Cryo DMG and then use Bennett’s Skill to create Melt (or vice versa).

Chongyun
Like in actual gameplay, Chongyun also providesCryo Infusion with hisGenshin ImpactSkill. Any card that uses Sword, Claymore, or Polearm will enjoy this effect and can deal Cryo DMG with their Normal Attack. This Infusion lasts for a few rounds, so don’t worry about using it too much in one round.
After collecting three Energy, Chongyun can deal massive single-target damage with his ultimate.

1Oceanid + Maguu Kenki + Xiangling
This team heavily focuses on creating summons. Oceanid, Maguu Kenki, and Xiangling can all create summons. This lineup will require patience as summons only deal damage at the end of the round.

With Oceanid dealing Hydro DMG, Maguu Kenki with Anemo and Cryo summons, and Xiangling with her Pyro Guoba, players can sit back and watch asthey wreak havoc with Elemental Reactions.
Oceanid can either spend three Hydro Dice to create one summon, or five Hydro Dice to make two. Just keep in mind that spending five Dice still counts as one move, so it’s a poor way to stack Energy.

Maguu Kenki
Maguu Kenki can create summons that deal Anemo DMG and another that attacks with Cryo. So far, this card is the only one that uses two different Elemental Dice in their gameplay. To make the Cryo summon, players need to spare some Cryo Dice, so make sure to properly manage the Dice.
Xiangling
Xiangling’s Guoba can also be summoned inGenshin ImpactGenius Invokation TCG. Like typical summons, the weakened-god will deal Pyro DMG at the end of each round.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
