Fortnitehas partnered yet again with the Epic-made social app Houseparty. This trivia-app-turned-chat is now being used to facilitatevideo chatting with friends inFortnite. to get moreFortnitefans on the Houseparty bandwagon, Epic is offering a free wrap to players that use Houseparty.
This isn’t the first time thatFortnitehas tried to get fans to connect with the Houseparty app; back in Spring of 2020 after the acquisition and partnership started,Fortniteoffered wraps for players just by playing Triviathrough the social mobile application. But now that it is being used for video chatting forFortnite, the Houseparty app is once again giving away free stuff to get players interested in it.

The Wrap
The free wrap this time around is a Rainbow Fog wrap. It’s a swirl of psychedelic rainbow colors that celebrates the new ability to addvideo chatting toFortnite. The swirl of pinks, yellows, and blues go well with just about any weapon and even Choppas.
The Houseparty app integrates live video chatting into PC, PS4, or PS5’s versions ofFortnite, allowing players to see their teammates and friends while digging into theMarvel-themedFortnitecrossover content. So anyone that has one of those three platforms will be able to earn the free Rainbow Fog wrap just by downloading the application through iOS Apple App Store or the Android App Store onto their phones, then connecting toFortnite.
To start the process, players should make an account on Houseparty, and connect toFortnitein the settings menu. Once Houseparty andFortniteare connected, players will be rewarded with the free wrap. Then players can feel free to add some friends and start chatting in-game, or not.
If players don’t have a PS4, PS5, or PC that they playFortniteon, there’s no need to worry. Xbox and Switch players can still nab this free wrap by playing five matches with friends between Friday, November 20 at 9 PM PT and Thursday, November 26 at 9 AM PT. After the fifth match is played, players will get the wrap in their inventory. It will give everyone a chance todestroy some Stark robots inFortnitewith their friends and earn some XP.
With everything going on betweenEpic and Apple suing and counter-suing each other, it’s a surprise that the Houseparty app will be running through the a mobile application that relies on the Apple Store and Android store. There is no mention of whether or not mobileFortniteplayers will be able to get this free wrap, but hopefully they too can get one just by playing five matches, just like Xbox and Switch players.
