Details for the season pass ofFor Honoraccidentally post on the official Ubisoft store, revealing a similar downloadable content strategy asRainbow Six Siege.
After impressing the crowd with its suprise reveal at E3 back in 2015,For Honoris now about a month away from its highly anticipated launch date. Final preparations are being made includingone final closed beta testset to introduce players to even more content and a new meta game called War of the Factions. Thanks to a leaked image, fans have even more insight into the downloadable content strategy asFor Honorplans to follow in the footsteps of Ubisoft other successful title,Rainbow Six Siege.
While previously unknown, leaked images from theUbisoft online storeaccidentally detailed the season pass content coming withinFor Honor. The images have since been removed, but not before eager fans captured the information. Season pass owners get access to a day one pack that includes three scavenger crates, a sunbeam emote, an exclusive emblem, 30 day champion status, and additional content to be named later.
Additionally, season pass owners also get access to the Deluxe Edition content as well, which adds a unique helmet crest for each of the three factions, a special smoke effect execution, deluxe edition emblems, and champion status for seven days. At this time, Ubisoft has not revealed what sort of bonus champion status unlocks for players, though many have speculated it could award bonus scrap at the end of matches.
The biggest potential reveal in the season pass however, is that Ubisoft plans to add six additional warriors to the game over time. Similar to the way theseason pass forRainbow Six Siegeworks, owners get seven day early access before they become available for purchase. Considering it’s already been previously confirmed that alldownloadable content will be freeinFor Honor, fans will likely need to spend a lot of in-game currency to unlock these warriors once they are released.
The Gold Edition marks the fourth version ofFor Honor, alongside the standard, deluxe, and recently revealedApollyon Collector’s Edition. For those wanting to spend some serious cash, the Collector’s Edition focuses on the big bad of the campaign, the enigmatic knight Apollyon. This GameStop exclusive comes with a few physical items including a lithograph and a letter detailing her origins. The real price however is a 14 inch, highly detailed figure of the knight created by Project Triforce.
