Glenumbra is the typical starting zone forElder Scrolls Onlineplayers in the Daggerfall Covenant faction, featuring Daggerfall itself and the heartland of the Breton people. It’sa beautiful zonewith Medieval European aesthetics and a penchant for greenery. Hidden amongst the trees and meadows are 16 Skyshards waiting to be found.

Skyshards inThe Elder Scrolls Onlinecan be collected at any level, though they serve players best at Max Level when leveling Skill Points can’t be acquired anymore. While the game provides some basic hints for Skyshard locations, actually finding them in the game’s vast zones isn’t as simple.
What Are Skyshards Used For?
Skyshards are afeature unique toThe Elder Scrolls Onlinethat give players another collectible to hunt down. When a player collects three Skyshards (the number collected can be tracked in the Skill screen), they receive a Skill Point to spend.

They typicallyshine out beams of white lightwhen getting close. As of theDeadlandsDLC’s Update 32, a small icon will appear on both the compass and the zoomed-out zone map to show the exact location of a nearby Skyshard, making it easier than ever to hunt down all of these relics.

In Glenumbra there are 16 Skyshards, just over half of which are in the zone itself, and the rest being located in Glenumbra’s solo and public dungeons – there aren’t any Skyshardsin group trial content.
There are two “groups” of Skyshards that are easy to collect in the zone:around Daggerfall, and in thenorthern end of Glenumbra. Travel to theDaggerfall Wayshrineto collectSkyshards number 1, 10, 11, 12, and 16within a few minutes of each other. TheCrosswych Wayshrineis located centrally betweenSkyshards 7, 8, 9, 14, and 15in the north.
