The Highland Axe may not seem very impressive at first with a simple design and middling damage. What it offers is a great compliment to other melee builds as it gives a good source of the War Cry buff and a passive increase to the damage of Roars. With this in their offhand andthe right Talismans, players have a damage boost whenever they need it and can use Roars to deal some decent ranged damage.

To get their hands on it, players should head to Stormveil Castle and find the Grafted Scion. The Highland Axe is on a nearby corpse and requires 12 Strength and 9 Dexterity.

5Bastard’s Stars

Flails are somewhat unpopular inElden Ringdue to their low range and poise damage. Despite this, the Bastard’s Stars can still be a great weapon. It deals good magic damage, with a 20% damage boost against Gravity type enemies. It cannot be infused with Ashes of War but its base skill, Nebula, is strong that players will not want to use anything else. It swings the flail wide, leaving a line of stars that explode after a short delay. This deals great damage and gives the player abeautiful light show.

2Rusted Anchor

The Rusted Anchor may look a bit strange and unwieldy but its high damage more than makes up for that. It requires a high Strength investment at 26 and in return grants players an A scaling with the Heavy Affinity. Between its high-damage slam attacks and its high pierce and poise damage, the Rusted Anchor is a great choice for any player looking to use something a bit unique.

It can be infused with other Ashes of War, but Barbaric Roar is strong enough that it may be worth keeping. Players can obtain it by heading to the Morne Tunnel and defeating the Scaly Misbegotten.

1Golem Halberd

This giant Halberd is an excellent Colossal Weapon that can keep its user safe with its considerable range. It can also close the gap quickly with its Charge Forth skill and its wide attacks can catch players.

As a random drop from any Golem, players may need to farm it for a while. The bridge to the Divine Tower of Limgrave is a good place for this as there are two Golems nearby. The sheer damage this weapon can deal makes it one of the best ways to deal witheven the hardest bossesand shows it is severely underrated.
