The wedding party proposal gift itself consisted of a neatly-packaged assortment of custom-made amenitiesnoDungeons and Dragonsplayer can live without. Not_Naked_Penguin designed unique miniatures in the likeness of his companions using Heroforge, a website where people can design and paint fantasy and science fiction minis for their tabletop games. The groom designed each character as the class his real-life friends most represented, bought them matching dice and dice bags, and included a formal proposal certificate asking his friends to be a part of this next adventure in his life.
Not_Naked_Penguin also revealed that he and his fiancé also designed customDungeons and Dragonsminiaturesof themselves, too. Because their wedding is taking place in a greenhouse, they designed these minis with flower motifs and nature themes. Their matching minis will be displayed for all to see on the wedding cupcakes on their big day, though he shared pictures of them as well.
The response fromfellowDungeons and Dragonsplayerswas, of course, overwhelmingly supportive. Most of the comments were full of best wishes for the wedding couple, and compliments to the bride and groom-to-be for their ingenuity.
