However, the core ofCall of Dutymultiplayer remained the same, including the number of guns players can equip at any given moment.Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2allows gamers to equip a primary and a secondary weaponin multiplayer, and while gamers can pick up guns from fallen players, the total always remains the same. This did not stop one user from somehow spawning with three guns instead of the standard two.

A Reddit user named CaptainPRlCE has shared a clip fromCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, showing that they spawned with a total of three guns during a multiplayer match. The video begins with the player holding a standard TAQ-Mmarksmen rifle inModern Warfare 2, before switching to dual pistols. CaptainPRlCE is then allowed to switch for a third time to the JOKR launcher, and then the rest of the video features them constantly switching between the three weapons.
While the player spawning with three weapons is surprising, it appears that they did not have any ammo for JOKR, so they probably could not have used it to gain an advantage over other users in the lobby. Still, this strange bug means that CaptainPRlCE would not be able to quickly switch between their primary and secondary weapons, and that can have an impact on their combat abilities duringmultiplayer encounters inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
It appears that someCall of Dutyfans have experienced the exact opposite of the video, as a few players claim to have spawned without their primary guns. One gamer also mentions that they once spawned without their lethal and tacticalgrenades inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, while another user compares the footage toDestiny 2, as fans do get access to three weapons in Bungie’s first-person shooter.
WhileCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2players can equip two primary weaponsthanks to the Overkill perk, this video highlights a bug present in the game. One user mentions that thisModern Warfare 2glitch is related to some specific pro-tuned weapons and their attachments, but claims that it supposedly got fixed in the latest update for the game.
