1. Quality of Life Changes

Borderlandsremastered makes some quality of life changesthat fans of the original game will no doubt enjoy.Borderlandsremastered characters will automatically pick up relevant items like ammo and health, instead of players having to manually pick up the items each time. There will also be an on-screen mini-map now to make getting around a bit easier, and players will also be able to lock weapons in their inventory so they don’t accidentally get rid of one of their favorite guns.

2. Cosmetics

WhereasBorderlands 2featured plenty of customization options, the originalBorderlandsonly really had palette swaps for players to customize their characters with.Borderlandsremasteredaddresses that issue by giving players different heads to choose from, allowing them to give their Vault Hunters a unique look.

3. New Final Boss Battle

Borderlandsremastered adds six new legendary weapons for players to collect while playing the game. Two of these weapons can be obtained by using a SHiFT code for the first time to open the golden chest.

5. SHiFT Codes

Borderlandsremastered now includes SHiFT code support, which allows players to use codes in exchange for golden keys, which are then used to open the golden chest. AnyBorderlandsremastered players who have saves forBorderlands: The Handsome Collectionwill get 75 free golden keys the first time they create a new character in the game.

6. 4K Graphics

One of the most notable upgrades inBorderlandsremastered is the upgrade to 4k graphics. The 4k graphics go a long way in helping the game look more modern than the original, and may give fans an idea of the graphical improvementsBorderlands 3will bring to the table when it releases later this year.Borderlands: The Handsome Collectionhas also received a 4k update, for those curious as to what that game looks like with sharper graphics.
