1Focus On The Main Story Early

Learn The Mechanics

As with most open-world games, fans may want to start exploring and wandering off the beaten path as quickly as possible. However, that is inadvisable inAvatar: Frontiers of Pandorabecause it’s a dangerous world with many systems to learn. Moreover, it is easy toget lost and lose one’s bearing when exploring.

The game does an excellent job of steadily introducing the world, its verticality, the methods of survival, and more.Avatarplayers will also obtain the tools and weapons they need to tackle side missions, defeat enemies, and more later on by completing the earlier missions in the main quest.

2Use Na’vi Senses

Reveal Enemies And Locate Mission Objectives

The Na’vi Sense mechanic separates the protagonist from the human enemies. Even though enemies appear to have X-ray vision when shooting the player throughthe jungle’s trees and bushes, the protagonist can utilize their senses by pressing the R1 button on the PlayStation or the RB button on the Xbox to pinpoint their location and detect any weaknesses.

Moreover, the sense feature can also give the player a general direction of the whereabouts of their next mission objective by following the glowing orb.

3Use Waypoint Markers

Markers Don’t Vanish Like The Sense Orbs

Utilizing the sense mechanic is a great way to find one’s way around the jungles of Pandora. However, the glowing orbs that appear vanish after a few seconds. Players can work around this by activating markers on their world map screen.

Place a green marker on the location of the mission objective and follow the green line on the compass. Furthermore, the marker will indicate how far the protagonist is from their destination on the map.

4Get To Higher Ground In A Firefight

Use The Environment

Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandoraemphasizes nature versus technology. The Na’vi are faster, stronger, and taller than the humans. However, the humanshave better technology and weapons. The Na’vi gain an advantage by utilizing the environment to get out of trouble and gain an advantage over their enemies.

The best way to win a firefight is to avoid fighting enemies head-on and getting to higher ground. The jungle has trees, vines, mountains, and more. There are Lift Vines that the protagonist can use to climb trees and cliffs and avoid the enemy’s line of sight. This is the perfect way to pick enemies off with the bow and set traps with the Staff Sling.

5Focus On Stealth Skills

Unlock The Hunter Skills

As the protagonist utilizes the environment to defeat enemies and their tech against all odds, it isnatural to use stealth to escapeand sneak up on targets. However, without the correct skills, it won’t be too challenging for a trained military force to spot a giant blue alien coming at them through the jungles of Pandora.

Following the main story early and completing the mission will reward skill points. Players should spend these skills in the Memories of the Hunter skill tree. The first is the Shadow Hunter, which makes the protagonist harder to detect when crouching and moving, and the Light-Footed Hunter will remove all noise when crouched.

6Use The Hunter’s Guide

Inspect Everything

The Na’vi Senses allows the protagonist to inspect the plant life, flora, and more in the jungles of Pandora. After inspection, the items get added to the Hunter’s Guide menu. The guide gives a detailed description of items and allows players topin them, making items like the Bellsprig glow yellow. This makes them easier to find when exploring with the Na’vi sense active.

Moreover, scanning enemy units like the AMP Assault mechs and Combat Exo suits gives detailed descriptions of their weaknesses and highlights them by pressing R1 on the PlayStation or RB on the Xbox.
