Family Guyhas been the subject of several memes for many years. The acclaimed television series, which first aired in January 1999, has endured as one of the fewcanceled TV shows that was later revived, escaping cancelation in 2005 due to increasing home video sales, which has allowed the series to continue on, with the show currently in the middle of its 20th season.

What has madeFamily Guystand out for many years are the numerous cutaway gags that are littered through the show. WhileFamily Guydoes have its heartwarming moments, the main focus of the show has always been the wall-to-wall jokes, with the show’s humor being derived from its outlandish scenarios, and the roping-in of several famous guests that appear in Quahog. This has created a fun meme format where literally anybody can appear at the Griffins' front door, which has led to this fun project.
Ross O’Donovan, an animator and former collaborator with the YouTubegaming channel Game Grumps, released a video on his own YouTube channel RubberRoss, in which he and his collaborator Don placed other YouTubers inFamily Guyby emulating the art style of the show. The video features a number of prominent content creators lending their voices to create an authentic scene, with appearances by creators like Jacksfilms, Daniel Thrasher, Jaiden Animations, AlphaRad, and as previewed in the tweet from O’Donovan, Pokimane.
The video is incredibly hilarious, as viewers get to see what their favorite content creators would look like if they had a chance interaction with Peter Griffin. In addition, the video highlights O’Donovan’s amazing artistic skills at being able to replicate MacFarlane’s art style forFamily Guynear-perfectly.
While some viewers have noted how the show has dipped in quality for some time, there are a handful ofFamily Guyepisodes that are better than when they first aired. Overall, the series’ legacy still remains strong, and fun memes such as these are a great reminder of that fact.
